Overview

Taekwondo is an exciting and powerful martial arts known for its dynamic kicking and hand techniques. Although these martial art techniques are centuries-old the program being offered is always to evolve to keep pace with the rapidly changing world yet following the proven techniques.

Martial-arts-style maneuvers are much more than self-defense—they're proven calorie killers that burn an average of 500 of those suckers an hour. They also target and tone your arms, shoulders, abs, thighs, and butt for a workout that boosts your metabolism, improves your balance, and chisels a strong, stunning physique. And then there are the side benefits: Launching fierce uppercuts, jabs, and kicks to a punching bag proves a much more satisfying stress reliever than jogging steadily on a treadmill.

Self Defense

The speed and power developed through Taekwondo is used in situations against vulnerable parts of an attacker’s body, the results can be incredible. For females, taekwondo teaches a woman to emphasize many of her natural physical strength, such as power in the legs, while learning a method of self-defense against a much larger opponent.

Learning theses skills help you handle situations in which self-defense may be required.

Self Esteem, Confidence

This does not come naturally for many people; the self-confidence can be developed over a period of time. As students accomplish their goals to reach next level, the self esteem level also increases. Taekwondo instills a sense of discipline and self-confidence that can carry over to all aspects of life.

Kickboxing

Classes are unique style of martial arts and physical training. It places a fair amount of emphasis on fitness and you quickly find that there’s no workout quite like a kickboxing workout. By the time you’ve delivered several punches, you’ll have burned some serious calories and strengthen your body and sharpen your mind.

Master Badri

Master Badri, 5th dan, has over 20 years experience and is registered with Kukkiwon headquarters in Korea, Canada taekwondo and Ontario taekwondo association.

Having a passion for fitness and wanting to learn a useful skill, master badri started training full time in 1999 with Korean Olympic Champion master. Having worked for a major global company producing refractory, and involved in NAFTA, the exercise and challenges of taekwondo helped master badri to have a sharper mind and always ready to go anywhere the job took her.

Master badri competed in Korea in 2003 Hanmadang tournament, wining gold, silver and bronze medals. She participated in many Ontario competitions and has been actively teaching, leading classes while practising for her next dan.

Master badri takes extreme pride in teaching and sharing the art of taekwondo.
